Custom Cabinetry in Collaboration with Jaimie Aanand Interiors
Spring Place is a study in modern glam minimalism – clean lines, bold contrast, and cabinetry that’s designed to be lived with every day. In partnership with Jaimie Aanand Interiors in Austin, LAVISH kitchen + bath reunited with the designer team (following a prior collaboration in San Antonio) to deliver custom cabinetry defined by precision, performance, and restraint.
This home was shaped through close coordination between designer, homeowner, and the LAVISH team – where layout decisions were made with real daily rhythms in mind. The goal wasn’t just visual harmony; it was cabinetry that supports how the space is used, holds up over time, and feels effortless in practice.
Entertainment Bar:
One Wall, Maximum Impact
Designed to optimize a single back wall, the entertainment bar balances efficiency with presence. The cabinetry features a trio of premium finishes – soft-touch matte black, textured black, and light-toned back-painted glass – layered to create depth without visual noise. Glass-front uppers add levity and give collected barware a purposeful place in the composition.
Behind the clean counter line, smart storage keeps function discreet: dedicated space for bar tools and serving pieces is integrated so the surface stays composed while essentials remain close at hand. Anchored by dramatic veined stone, statement lighting, and strong architectural lines, the bar reads as a true feature – minimal, bold, and highly considered.
Primary Bathroom:
Floating Forms + Quiet Material Drama
In the primary bath, floating vanities reinforce the home’s clean geometry while complementary finishes add subtle contrast. Large-format, marble-inspired porcelain slabs create a gallery-like backdrop – dramatic in movement, calm in palette. The result is a room that feels open and breathable, with every finish chosen for both tactile appeal and long-term relevance.
Laundry (and Everything “Utility”):
Integrated, Not Afterthought
Even the concealed laundry area was treated with the same level of discretion and detail. Storage is designed to disappear into the architecture so utility supports the home without interrupting it.
